Placing items in containers?

I have recently started using the construction set and I am in the process of making a series of rings, I would place them on the ground some place if they were big weapons but they are not so I want to place them in a container somewhere, I don't really need to make a new container I just want to put them in a barrel or something somewhere, how would I go about doing this on the CS? Any help is appreciated

Any container likely has dozens of copies in the game. If you add rings to a vanilla container, it's considered a dirty edit, and those rings would appear in every container of that type across Cyrodiil. You need to create a custom container, set to not respawn, and then place it in game where you can find it. For details check out Part II: Custom Containers in this class
