[IDEA] Zesty Conjuration.

Just got done running Shalidor's Maze, and got the idea... conjuration is a bit bland... your summons automatically obey you, and there's almost no margin of error.

What if (and bear with me)

summons had a small chance of frenzying everyone?

that dremora lord you want to summon has other ideas, pulling you through the gateway?

you get the WRONG summon?

would definitely add a bit of spice to conjuration

Sounds very cool

But a slight modification. How about it happens if you haven't gotten the related conjuration mastery perk. The idea is that your mind is not yet strong enough to control them every time (which is how unbound summons happen, when the caster's mind isnt strong enough.....see Huleen's Hut in Morrowind).

Once you get the perk it'll no longer happen, but it owuld add an element of risk to casting for a high level summon without the right perks.

well, that kinda goes without saying, but perhaps instead of complete removal of the risk... i was thinking a very slim chance with the mastery perks, possibly like .02%, much higher without the perks.

Yeah, I was thinking of a quest that would go something like that! You'd get a one-off summon (probably a scroll) of some super powerful Daedra, who, after saving your ass, turns on you an hunts you down. It'd initially be really, really hard to beat, and would randomly show up to throw a spanner in your quests. Sort of like the Brotherhood assassins from Tribunal. You'd have to flee across Skyrim, searching for a way to kill or dismiss it.
