"Officially complete"   :hugs:

You made a great looking model, but what separates you - and me - from people like IS is "whatever that is".  UV mapping, unwrapping, it's the (dreaded and) most crucial step in mesh making.  That's where fooling around and getting a nice shape becomes an officially complete game asset. Basically you have to turn your delicious 3d model into a 2d flat set of 'islands', so that you can go into Gimp or another image app with it and give it the texture it needs to show up at all in the game.  That's a scratch of the surface of what's next for you.

Your picture looks like it's on the Blender grid.  Try googling "Blender unwrap" for the basics of what you need to do.  To get the model into Skyrim check out the tutorials here.  Under normal circumstances I'd have a few links to give you, but my rig has bled to death, so I'm unable to get to the link mine.

But since the word is that you're awesome - I forget who told me - I know I'll be seeing nice in game shots of your sword soon enough.  Hopefully others will post here and add their more informative voices.  Love the shape of the sword, Emma.  :toast:
