.ESP load limit in Skyrim

Does anyone know if there is a MAX # of .esp files you can have in Skyrim?

Around 252. But if your game still works with that many mods, I would be surprised, or your using BOSS or something to help with the load order.

Thanks Willisea... I am at 130, and no BOSS at this time. TES5Edit is only have a problem with one MOD (dont know anything about that program though)... Just added SOS to my game, and getting issues with COL and B3 Breezehome... appreciate the reply mate!

I have around 6 mods. Needless to say I don't have many problems. And most of those are my own creation anyway.

For the most part neither do I. occasionally, I get some load issues, but I quickly try and find the offending mod and move on. I am on my 3rd play thru, and really wish I was adept enough to make a mod or two... I have a few ideas but couldnt pull them off if I wanted to... I am just a lowly VA...
