Weird ForceGreet issue: Please help

Hi guys,

I have a weird ForceGreet problem that I can't seem to fix.

I originally started my quest by initiating a force greet on the player - a guard walks up to the player, and starts talking in a way that the player's attention is focused on the guard (player cannot walk anywhere else during the conversation).

I then made a second character further on into the quest that I also want to force greet the player. Same settings and all (just different conditions appropriate to the current stage), so I was pretty happy. But in the game, when the player gets into the area that the forcegreet was supposed to happen, the actor walks up to the player, and says the line, but they do not say it directly to the player. The player can still keep running and doing whatever they want, rather than what was supposed to happen, which is the camera moving to the actor talking and the conversation carrying on so that the player cannot move anywhere else but is involved in the conversation with the actor.

Am I missing something? I thought I had all the settings correctly set up. As a test, I even copied the original forcegreet package that worked on the other character, and just changed the condition to the stage that I want the forcegreet to happen during, but same deal happens. The actor doesn't actually start talking to the player, but they just say the beginning sentence into thin air as if making some random comment.

Thank you for any and all help.

Is the dialogue working when you manually trigger the conditions and talk to the NPC?

Do you have "Must Complete" flag set in the package?

The Package might take some time to trigger.

I also noticed that sometimes the NPC does not initiate dialogue, says the first lines and then the dialogue may or may not continue. It is really strange sometimes.
