Looking for open chests modder's resource!

Hey TESA.

 

I've seen static open treasure chests used in a lot of mods, yet I can't seem to find the source anywhere. Can anybody point me in the right direction? I'm a little late to the party to start modding Oblivion again in 2014, so a lot of the old resource sites are long gone...

Oh my. I just found the 'broken' chests in the CS... I guess it was there the whole time! However, if anyone knows of something better or more interesting for display room decoration, I'll gladly collect any links. Thanks.

Search on Nexus for "chest" in the resource category. My guess is, there should be a pretty good selection of both open, and closed chests.

Thanks for the reply, HeyYou... that's exactly why I came here, unfortunately. I spend a lot of timegoing through the nexus whenever I replay a Bethsoft rpg, so I looked there first... bit of a modaholic. The only thing there is some kind of gold chest retex I didn't want. But these default 'broken' ones will be adequate for my needs right now!

 

However, on a related note, that's what I thought too... the Oblivion section of the nexus lately seems a little odd, like everything was reset and deleted and never fully replaced recently.

If you want them empty, it is easy to remove the content with NifSkope. And if you don't know how to do this, I can do it for you

And just to spoil you for choice, there is also Mr_Siikas Necropolis Tileset on Nexus.  It has a few chests with partly-open lids displaying piles of golden coins inside.  Since the file's page hasn't any pictures of the chests in this resource, it's easy to overlook them.
