    I went to change the cover of a journal from a book.nif to a Journal.nif and discovered that I apparently HAD NO BOOK meshes. @_@ They exsist somewhere obviously. Because I can see them in game. I see the path of Clutter/Books/nameofnif.nif but can't physically find that path in the data files. :(

      The capitalization doesn't matter. Anyway, all of the vanilla game's resources are stored in bsa files. Meshes are all archived in Skyrim - Meshes.bsa. That's why you can't see them. Use Fallout Mod Manager or another utility with a BSA unpacker to unpack the .bsa files if you need to access them.
