  1. I went to change the cover of a journal from a book.nif to a Journal.nif and discovered that I apparently HAD NO BOOK meshes. @_@ They exsist somewhere obviously. Because I can see them in game. I see the path of Clutter/Books/nameofnif.nif but can't physically find that path in the data files. :(

I've looked all over and I am definitely missing viewable mesh files. I look in the ingredients file and see one nif file...a tomato. Inside the statue folder....one nif fire. Namira. The references show a capitalized Clutter folder...while mine is lower case. Color me confused. -_-

The capitalization doesn't matter. Anyway, all of the vanilla game's resources are stored in bsa files. Meshes are all archived in Skyrim - Meshes.bsa. That's why you can't see them. Use Fallout Mod Manager or another utility with a BSA unpacker to unpack the .bsa files if you need to access them.

You're gonna have a LOT of space taken up on the harddrive when you unpack especially textures.

      It's our favorite equation LOL

  4. I wish there was a way to lock objects together for easier movement. Hate to decorate something and then want to move it later and have to put everything back.

Just highlight the ones you want as a group to move them as a group :)

      Click and drag!

  5. Additionally, I am also annoyed with small spaces and interior walls/beams getting in my camera view when I'm trying to swing around to view object placement. I will persevere!

  6. Little fustrated presently. Completely unhappy with mismatching textures of vanilla objects. I want a brown wall shelf to match my brown upper floor shelves. Curved walls annoy me.

  7. Also, does it matter where I put furniture such as beds to be able to use them in game for sleeping? Or is there a way to add the markers for this?
  8. Let me see if I underestand you correctly. I can drop and drag them directly from the data folder? I don't need to manually install them one by one with a name and texture for every single color combination?
  9. O_O That's very manual and time consuming. Okay. Thank you for your quick response.
  10. I'm new to modding, but for the most part I've had little trouble figuring things out. It's pretty straight forward. What I don't get is when I install mods that have to do with objects such as bathtowels, premade-clutter and the like it does not show up in the creation kit. I know adding these is possible because I've seen released mods with the content in question. I've double checked to see if the mods were in fact installed (I used NMM to unzip and install). Should I remove them and install manually? Or am I somehow missing something entirely?
