I find the texture very drab, simple bronze, not much variation...

It looks sturdy and violent, but with a ceremonial vibe instead of a "crude implement of destruction" vibe. I like that, and it's very beautiful to me. Maybe it's the resemblance to Sunder that's swaying me, but I think I'd like it even more with a slightly warmer, darker, bronze. The bronze it wears now is cooler, almost with a bare hint of green.
