It seems like the nif has duplicate vertices or something..the texture looks like nifs I've had that, once doubles were removed, looked much better.

I checked every single mesh in Nifskope - no duplicate vertices. I did not expect anything else, as this model is by Stroti again.

all your edges seem to be on smooth mode, which is where they are strange shadows all over it.

I think the snow would be locked on the roof with those blocks along the bottom of the roof line. You asked

YES MAGE - Smoothing! That's what it is that gives the burnt appearance.

That would be the vertex shading , The shaded areas can be fixed easily with a few extra verts.
