And out of curiosity, if I may of course, how long it takes for you to make one of these? As I can spend more than a week on a single weapon :/

i think most of his time is spent on the textures. he seems to be able to churn out these gems within a couple days of starting. (correct me if i'm wrong, IS)

Actually IS makes high poly models, so a bit less of work on textures is needed to achieve better results than working with low poly objects. Though it's true that good texture can make model only better.

Actually I don't always no, depends on the project and how I'm feeling. I do prefer having a more detailed model, but no less work goes into the texture though.

New swords can take anywhere from 3 days to a few weeks. If I have a solid idea in my head or sketched it takes me a few days, most of that time is texture work. If I don't have a solid idea then it could easily take 2 weeks plus.

Jeez, I would so love to watch you create one of these new things. You do it so well.
