I think this is about the best I can do with my current knowledge and skill set, short of scrapping it all and starting over. So, I will call this the first completed piece of the Desk Set of the Dragonborn. Hopefully the rest will be easier to do, and lighter on the polys.

Of course they're too high, Don! :) I just don't know how to fix that without scrapping the whole thing and starting over. I reduced the poly count on everything below the sleeve, but trying to do anything with the sleeve and handle makes a mess. Nif size is 67k at this point, but at least that's better than the 163k I started with.
