The De Novo Experiment: Inkwell Under Construction

It may need to be scaled down just a hair, but the vanilla inkwell next to it shows I'm in the ballpark. A couple of the UV maps got turned crossways and need to be rotated. I think the black rough glass works well, which came from my collection of a ton of glass textures the specialty-glass manufacturers give away, which I haven't had a use for since doing some stained glass 2d art projects six or seven years ago. I will be adding more detail to the silver cap, and perhaps some filigree or something in front of the glass.
