It was somewhat challenging trying to carve the very dark wood I used for the writing stand, but I think it turned out well. Inset shows the detail on the Mephala carving. The pen, pen stand, and ink well turned out delightfully grungy, matching the letter sealer. The dark red ink makes the final touch. Wouldn't it be neat to receive the Mysterious Note with "We Know" in that ink, sealed with that stamp?
Now, on to the Desk Set of the Archmage!
