I just created this new follower's head-to-be for my use in making a new Follower.
I find, by far, the fastest way to fashion a new head for Skyrim use, is to start a new game, model yourself (male or female).
Once done, use the console to save the head using "spf YourUsedName " as the command to save the new file "YourUsedName.npc" in the ...\common\Skyrim\... directory.
Then I quit the game. Use CK and in the Actor Form you can [import] any *.npc head to your model.
Of course, I use Alternate Start - Live Another Life mod to avoid the 'wagon-ride-to-Helgen' painfully long ride.
