I know this mod is ancient, but how has nobody seen this? It's a fascinating alternative to Spell Research. It could definitely use some modern touches based on some similar mods that I've seen (adding a construction recipe for the [Research] item, adding it to the player via quest, or adding [Research] as a Lesser Power instead), and perhaps an SSEEdit patcher/Synthesis tool/other thing to allow mod-added items to be recognized in the framework, but the basics here are spectacular.

Lots of fun, plenty of synergy with unarmed perk mods and enchantments (if you want to use the Fists with Way of the Monk you'll need to run a patcher with them - there are keyword patchers for both SSEEdit and Synthesis floating around on the Nexus), and it converts nicely to Skyrim SE with nary a hitch. Based on that it should do the same with Anniversary Edition. If you've ever wanted to punch someone's head off in Skyrim, Ragna_Rok has you covered!
