just, my favourite band, coheed and cambria. a prog rock band, whose songs are actually an allegorical narrative based on the vocalist's life-changing romantic experience and a trip to Paris, among other things. they are having a concert in Hollywood in November, a four night event, all four of their current albums played in sequential order, one album a night. i scored a VIP ticket. they went on sale at 10:00am this morning, and were sold out by 10:05am. they include... - One ticket to each of the four concerts. - A special VIP ONLY laminate that will grant you early entrance to the venue for each of the four concerts , as well as: - An intimate acoustic performance by Coheed and Cambria. (On October 25th in NY and November 8th in LA) - A Meet and Greet with Coheed and Cambria. thanks for the posts everyone. a while back i uploaded about a dozen or so mods into my test cell, but that progress was lost in a technologically holocaust. i agree with your assessment, DarkRider, doing it in pieces seems best to me. i believe it is necessary to play through the game in its entirety, in order to chronicle what npcs and locations are in need of a "makeover." once again, if anybody has any suggestions off the bat, i'd love to hear them. wish me luck, p.s., DarkRider, thanks on the engagement, and glad you enjoy my parlance.

In my experience with The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, there are two particular problems that i really couldnt abide by. The First, why is it that Cyrodiil's most famous and infamous people use basic weaponry and equipment? why is it that Cyrodiil's most perilous dungeons offer a treasure trove of.. a few gold and a health potion? why is it that Cyrodiil's few "named" weapons, are underwhelmingly similar to their "normal" counterparts? why is it that any semblance of exploration holds little reward for the weapon and armour fetish? And the Second, Why is it that so many amazing pieces of equipment are created by modders for this game, and end up being placed into the inventories of petty merchants, or left laying in odd, often frequently trafficked, places? I want to cure both of these problems. i want to plunge into Skeletally infested Ruins, and emerge with a unique breastplate that i earned, and can use proudly. i want to duel Agronak gro-Malog, the Grey Prince, or Mannimarco, King of Worms, and marvel at their powerful artifacts, potentially inherit a weapon with personality. i want to pick up the Blackwater Blade, and not have to doublecheck a fine steel longsword to notice its individuality. i want to be given a reason to explore. and so, i plan on creating a mod for myself (with the strong chance of future public release), which takes my favourite weapons, armour, and clothing mods, and distributes them to specific npcs, locations, and otherwise. i feel its a fitting way to honour the great mods out there, taking precious artifacts out of the IC market district, out of meager shops, and into the hands of Cyrodiil's most noteworthy persons, and into the depths of the most ruthless dungeons, as prizes, and other such additions, such as replacing "named" vanilla weapons with models and textures, befitting their supposed value. this includes editing those modded weapons, by either altering their texture or effects, or their stats, or their name. I'm not terribly experienced, and would love any assistance you all may be willing to offer me. have a favourite mod i've not included? list it for me. know a great npc, location, etc, to have a weapon relocated to? let me know. or even just got a cool name that may eventually identify a neat new sword? want to becoming my partner and lighten my load? more than welcome. this is a big undertaking, and requires alot of knowledge in multiple programs, lots of playtesting (both for ideas and testing), and (literally) hundreds of author's permissions. I will be a full time student, which is complicated by too many social, filial, and legal obligations, as well as a recent engagement ( ). but i'd love to see this mod progress, however slowly, and your support is greatly appreciated.
