Hey guys. This is my first time at Tes Alliance. With Nexus Mods becoming more corporate, people are starting to look elsewhere to host thier mods. My experience here so far hasn't been stellar. I get that this site has to support itself and is doing so without resorting to adverts, and that is awesome. What isn't quite so good is download speeds for a one time download. I'm getting less the 200 kb/second download speeds and then a download failure before I get the mod I'm after. That doesn't leave me with a feeling of "Hey I want to join the Tes Alliance", in fact it has exactly the opposite effect. I'm saying this because I recognize that we need alternatives to the Nexus Mods, and this site could be one of them, but that won't happen if you leave a bad taste in the mouth of first time users. sincerely sattyre
