Found the problem, I'm using a usb headphone/mic cause my soundcard died a long time ago I had unplugged it to recharge my wife's mp3 player. and since I had on other active sound devices it crashed. who would of thought unplugging you head phones would have caused that. thanks guys for all your help. hope I can return the favor some time.

I am running Xp I have created dialogue before and no I haven't made any changes to the system

I've been using the construction set for 2 years now and had my share of problems but this resent one has put my modding to a halt. in the dialogue section I can create a new topic but when I try to create a response it crashes every time. It doesn't matter which file I working on or even creating a new one always the same thing. I tried reinstalling the game and still crashing.It seems like its tiring to access some temp file that may be corrupted but I dont know where this file might be.If someone could help me figure this out or send me in the right direction I would be very thankful

While tring to get some where else a manage to end up hear,so I decide to stay a while and maybe take up roots. I'm kind of an old fart,well may not that old.I love programing (Delphi) and am working on my first mod I call it ExtremeCompanion and yes it does deal with some adult content. ExtremeCompanion is Companion Management mod like cm and some of the others but with very different goals. Here are some of the hilights Wardrobe management - no more containers all wardrobes are recorded using pluggy files. very easy to add many wardrobes to the Companion world. Task management - with only a handful of packages, scripts can made to place our companions anywhere. doing any task or job with full wardrobe support. yes you got it right our Companion will choose clothing to support what ever task they may be doing at the time. Companion Personality - our Companion's come to us quite innocent and very modest It is only by our actions and the environment we subject them to that cause them to change. while much still has to be workout in this part of to mod,I hope to capture a system that will give each companion their own identity based of your inaction with with them.
