Well, even science is proving that consciousness is not in the brain... The brain is a processor and control center for the physical form... The only way souls and spiritual forms can have a physical experience and truly affect this reality, we had to take on a body or vehicle that is bound by the laws and physics of this reality... This is why we say that we are 'having a human experience' we are actually way more than physical matter.

Our consciousness is just another part of our brain that controls the rest. It's sole job is that. When the other parts take control, or there is more than one conscious you get multiple personality disorders. Want proof? think of all the times you talked something over in your brain and honestly had to stop yourself from doing something.
