Thanks for the "Blood is Everything" suggestion. I'll definitely try that one. Not exactly what i seek, but the two possible ways of being a vampire are there. More than what I've found myself so far.
Maybe I'll try to tweak that one a bit to my liking... Time to dust off my Morrowind modding memories.
StarX's overhaul seems to fix another vanilla game shortcoming - the generic dungeons, at least some of them. Finally having a vampire clan to join sounds great as well.
Decisions, decisions...
Ahem, do they work together?
All the vampirism concepts for Oblivion seem to tie sunlight damage to NOT drinking blood, should be the exact opposite, I think. The less human (and more of a night creature) you become, the more the sun should damage you. By drinking human blood you reject human values of "good", thus the arguably highest one, life-giving sunlight, becomes deadly to you. You gain inhuman powers during the night, but the beauty of sunlight becomes forbidden to you.
On the other hand, by not feeding you simply become weaker, makes some sense, but still... And vampirism in Tamriel isn't a curse, but disease - that can be another factor against my point of view.
I just like mystical approach to such fantasy themes, instead of scientific one which is popular nowadays.
I understand there needs to be some motivation to find victims to feed on, this just doesn't feel like the right one.
Anyways, thanks for the replies!
