  1. The pictures do look really nice, but the picture of the stables looks kinda clean. I believe the stones are too clean for a medieval city/settlement. Something like vines would decorate the stone a little. Not too much, but they would give the impression of the city's longevity.
  2. I would love to hunt in that forest! I support the idea and do hope this turns out just as good as I think it will. I am no level designer and not nearly enough experienced with the latest construction set to help you. But I'll tell other modders about your work!
  3. Drinking and back country skiing. Now that would prove to be a challenge. Although I am usually up for those. I'll put my safety first this time... and wear a helmet for once!
  4. Greetings and welcome, hope you'll find it as pleasant as I do here!
  5. Exactly! don't take on anything unless you are ready to take the consequences! Yea, I have always found it to bring smiles or laughter to the people who read it or hears it. But I don't care it's a fun story, a good example on stupidity. But I tell it anyway, I am not ashamed of the fact. I see it like my buttocks won over a tree stump! hehe. Buns of steel!
  6. Stubbkrossen This nickname was not given, but earned when I was thirteen years of age. I was out skiing downhill or rather off-pist as I love. This was a beautiful day, the sun was shining. Not too cold nor too warm outside, no wind and no clouds in the skies. As I was sloping in this small birch forest on top of the mountain I enjoyed myself in the nights fallen snow, it was perfect; soft and every flake for itself. Just a perfect day for off-pist. Suddenly I see a clearing heading towards the slopes and I went down through the trees. As I was enjoying life as it was meant to be that day I thought to myself how wonderful this snow is, I wonder how it will feel laying down in it. So in full speed I put myself down into the soft snow and embracing the soft frozen water... 'til I hit a tree stump... with my buttocks. Ah, the pain. I flew about three meters from the spot I hit that stump. Doing some weird corkscrew through the snow. I layed there tossing and turning in pain. No words or scream, just breathing in and exhaling slowly and deeply. I stand up after some time... Looking at what I hit. What I hit was a tree stump. It was a stump before impact, now it was shattered all over the place. Old rotten stump went up to birch heaven. I went down the slopes... agonizing as the pain was it took me nearly one hour to go down to the lifts. A tear fell for every turn I took, stopping and pausing after every turn. When I got down I put away my equipment and couldn't ski, run or do anything that takes fast movement to do. I limped around for a week, with the pain in my buttocks always remembering the awful beautiful day it was when I crushed a tree stump to smithereens with... My buttocks. Today my buttocks are fine and no serious injury was inflicted. But what a memory it is, and to explain my name in english since it has a swedish origin. Stubbe = tree stump krossen = Crusher So I chose this unique name online, as the "Tree stump crusher"! hehehe.
  7. Although I love the empire, my heart has always stayed Nord. When I got to choose I thought it over. I had no intention of letting the imperials meddling too much with the affairs of Skyrim and it's culture. But I do not swear Ulfric as my Jarl or high king. I would gladly liberate the whole of Tamriel from the Thalmor, but I would begin with ridding my homeland from it's occupiers. Ulfric is no good as a leader of the land. Since I only see conflict in his eyes and hate. I would do so much more, I would carry my axe with pride and love for my beloved Skyrim. Everyone who wants to exploit Skyrim and limit it's culture has to answer for it's crimes. My Dunmer side look down upon Ulfric for just seeing them as parasites. But my Dunmer side also admires the honour and the pride of the nords.
  8. Here's a list of films I enjoy due to both my interests and simply they are enjoyable: 1. Deuce of Spades - A movie about everlasting love and hot rods. To be short. There's this girl hot rodder that finds an old 32' roadster in a barn at a lady's place. It's in so great condition but as every rodder or gearhead, we simply disassemble parts to see how things work. While she does this she discovers an old letter intriguing her to find out the history of this car and it's previous owner. 2. Warning, Parental Advisory - A movie about rock and the music industry. Not too great, but very interesting if you like Twisted Sister or Frank Zappa. This takes place when tapes and vinyl records owned the market of music. The music industry wants to carry through the bill of taxing home-tapers. Much like the trouble with pirates today. Yaharrr! 3. Christine - A stephen King book moved onto the screen. It tells the tale of a '58 Plymouth Fury, which has... you might say a soul or spirit. Anyway it's evil and jealous. It comes with good music from the 50's and is a tale of love and jealousy on a higher level. 4. Hysteria, the def leppard story - The story of the british band of Def Leppard. How it came to and how it climbed higher as a band during the 80's. Worth a look if you like the music and Def Leppard. 5. La Bamba - The story of Ritchie Valens. The young rock singer/guitarist who died with buddy holly and the big bopper. 6. World's fastest Indian - The tell of Burt Monroe, the one who remade his old motorcycle to break world speed records on the salt flats. Watch Anthony Hopkins take on a journey. A true tale about an old man who makes his wish come true. I know these movies are mostly rock 'n roll and cars/motorcycles. But I grew up with most of 'em and I gladly recommend it to you people who feel you need to watch something new or something that relates to either your music taste or your other hobbies.
  9. Beowulf I read this book whilst in seventh grade (13 years, going on 14 years of age) I do not remember a whole lot about it, I haven't found it again since that day. At the time it was at my school library and I was just scouring through the fantasy section. At 17 years of age my teacher asked me if I had found any book to review for the course. And I said that I wanted to find this and read it again because I found it so interesting. He looked at me shocked: "Have you read Beowulf?" Yes I answered and he told me that this book's origin was before it came on hide or paper. It was a tale carried through tongues and no more. I do not care about the movie, I haven't seen it and will probably not see it either. But I must read the book once more, I must own it! This might not be a review. But I can recommend everyone interested in fantasy to read it. Since it's a very good tale from old.
  10. Hail to you people! I bring greetings from the northern parts of Sweden to your lives. I am here to take up modding TES games and to meet gamers with similar interests of games. Being also a gearhead I find complex engineering designs/programming and scripting very intriguing. And when I make mods, I usually do something that use a lot of numbers in the background of the game. If any of you also wants to talk about Motorcycles or cars both new and old. I am happy to join in on any ideas or problems that you might have. I bid everyone a continued pleasant summer! *bow
