  1. I figure I've got some free time, so I'll start on making a few of these myself. I'll do the fishing nets, etc. Something that was sorely lacking in a fishing-based infrastructure.
  2. I'd like to see a tileset that looks the same as Solitude's castle, but more modular than the one as it is now. Or just any castle exterior tileset in general. They gave us plenty of interiors to go with it, just not enough exteriors.
  3. Looks awesome! I was disappointed with our options for exterior buildings in Skyrim (Particularly modular ones). This'll definitely fill a gap.
  4. Directional lighting? I haven't set that. Might be the problem, I just used the 'set from ambient' button on the lighting tab.
  5. Sounds like the metro from Broken Steel. Don't know if that's supposed to be accessible prior to its quest or not.
  6. I can't see them at all whatever I set the ambient to, it seems. Only things that make it visible are exterior lighting and non-shadow casting omni lights. Guess a dark spider cave isn't viable, unless the webs will be invisible 'til lit by a torch.
  7. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me, then? Be good to know if it were just a rendering problem on my end.
  8. Spider webs appear to only be visible when they're lit by light objects, and go invisible when only seen by ambient lighting or shadow casting lights. Is this realism or a bug? It's hard to make a room festooned with spider webs and keep it dark. This applies to the webs with green editor markers, the Kit pieces turn black when unlit or by shadow casters.. Which is just as much a problem because it looks bad. Something else I've noticed is that this doesn't appear to affect vanilla cells. Might be due to their ultra-high ambient light levels, though.
  9. I think the pattern I've noticed in most tutorials is that they suggest using a very small brush and small strokes to keep it smooth and tidy. My method of using a grunge brush that's at a medium small size didn't pan out too well.
  10. The engraving section looks stunning, I'm amazed you can do that by hand without a tablet. Usually looks jagged when I try. What sort of brush are you using? A fuzzy circle or something else?
  11. Do most of these methods work in GIMP or is it Photoshop only? Main thing I'm wanting to know is the inner glow you applied to a layer.
  12. Anyone gotten the heightmap editor working? It just crashes on saving for me. Though the heightmap editor for the CS was stable as a two-legged chair as well.

  15. Though if it is a dropped inventory item, you might want to add in an extra way so that people can pick it back up, such as a check for if they're sneaking.
  16. A dagger and a sword, dagger in the right hand, enchanted with flames. Sword has absorb health on it. Use the dagger to start the fight by slitting as many throats as possible, and then keep your health up with the sword. Since you can't block, step back whenever an enemy is obviously taking a swing at you.
  17. Is the Silgrad Tower generator gone? I liked how it had extra support for specific Dunmer houses.
  18. That looks like it might hurt a bit with all the talons digging into your mortal flesh.

  20. Could you make them a flat plane that angles to the direction the player is facing, like the flames in game? What's the use of having them change based on angle?
  21. What about updating artifacts already in the game so that they are as powerful as the lore says they are? Seems like Bethesda completely changed the effects of some of them, like the Ebony Mail.
  22. I'm considering making a Museum of Artifacts in my first mod which'll work about the same way as the Mournhold one. It likely won't pay as much since artifacts aren't worth in Skyrim what they used to be. Hellooo 120000 gold coin cuirass.
  23. You're now obligated to post a picture of your beard wearing the Dovahkiin hat.. I'm curious to what it looks like.
  24. I'm planning on a mod to add the Blacklight area of Morrowind to the game. Much easier than trying to wedge it into the game's existing space.
