The lower floor has 2 tables and 6 seats, two at the fireplace and 4 by the tables. The upper floor has the beds. I'm not sure if both Wall Mounted Mudcrabs are visible in this angle, but you should be able to see all the pelts and baskets. Edit-- yeah, if you click on the picture, you can see the mudcrabs and one of the baskets; the other basket is on the other floor. And here is the extra credit: http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/gallery/image/28804-xtracrd1/ I put the divider in first, then the end tables against the wall, then a pair of shelves against the divider. Once I created a mini-bar, I was practicing moving it as one total piece so I moved it to the 2nd floor; this way I'd only need to upload one image. You can see a bit of the candle horn chandelier in the lower left corner. All in all, this was fun. It took me several days to get comfortable but at least now I feel like I can fiddle with the Creation Kit without wrecking my game or accidentally deleting Riften.

  5. Hello everyone! I realize I'm a bit late in the semester (and about 2 years behind everyone else) but the imminent release of the Elder Scrolls Online has got me interested in Skyrim again, so now I'm playing Dragonborn for the first time and trying my hand at modding. This is a test post to see if my images ended up here all right; I took some screen caps of Lesson #1. If this works I'll upload the homework part once it's all done. http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/gallery/image/28736-agtest1/ http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/gallery/image/28737-agckles1/

Part 3 of Lesson 1 took me a half hour of playing with the Z, X, and C coordinates. I was very impressed with myself until I realized I was off by three dimensions and that nothing was lined up properly. But I kept fiddling and eventually got it.

This is my first attempt at taking the CK basic class. Part 1 of Lesson 1 took me 19 minutes. This is basically the part where you learn how to load and save the Creation Kit. I feel very accomplished now.

  9. Hi everyone! I am new here. I actually found this place because I was tinkering with the Skyrim Creation Kit and getting nowhere, so I Googled 'Creation Kit help' and found this site. I played the original Skyrim when it first came out 11/11/2011, but I never got Dragonborn until very recently. Once I started playing Skyrim again, I decided to create a new character, and then I realized I wanted to mod Skyrim so that I'd have a new and different experience while working my new character up to head to Solstheim. Two years ago, when the Creation Kit first came out, I did release a single mini-mod onto Steam, which I felt was rather mandatory: a single player-owned permanent chest at the Riverwood fast-travel point. Lame as that sounds, I don't even remember how I did something so minor so now I am here and starting from scratch.
  10. I've decided to learn how to mod Skyrim, even though it's probably two year too late to matter.

Considering folks are still making mods for morrowind, which came out in 2001..... I don't think there is any such thing as "too late".

All right! It's taken about 3 weeks, but I finally feel like I can actually accomplish something with the Creation Kit!
