My advice. In addition to what IS said - Help others on their projects while you figure out yours at the same time. Comment on message boards, reply to other threads. Make yourself known, and be courteous. Get to know them. You'll be able to figure out who's good at doing what. Once people start to know *you*, and know what you're capable of - you'll have a easier time finding a solid group. TAKE YOUR TIME figuring out your execution for the project. Taking the time to think about your project and how you want to execute it will make it awesome. ALSO If people don't respond to your requests, don't keep bugging them. Give them time to respond - or take that silence as a "no". Good luck!

It just occurred to me how many mods I'm putting into this machinima project of mine. - Chase camera mod - Wrye Morph - CM Partners/Share and Recruit - OBGE/Screen Effects - Exnems body/stock armor and clothing for exnems body - Fraps footage of Kvatch Rebuilt - Ren's hair - Dwemer Spectacles - Jarrod's textures - Armametarium (I forgot the correct spelling) - Even more LOD/water texture mods - COBL - hentai's lovely house 2 - Illumination Within - Midas Magic - Ronin's Oblivion Movie Director - Just about every pose/animation mod you can think of (AiC, Umpa, Sephs) with Pose Compendium - Improved Fires and Flames - WHOOSH A lot of work was put into creating these mods and I fully intend on giving credit on the youtube page and website (when I launch it in a month or so). I remember reading somewhere that it's also a good idea to contact (or at least try) each mod author if repackaging a mod. Would the same thing apply for machinima? I would think so. While I'm not porting someone else's mod to another website, I'm still filming footage of it. What would be the best way to word a message? Would "Hi, I just wanted to let you know I like your work and would like to use footage of it in my machinima series." suffice? I just don't want to step on anyone's toes.

I've seen it happen when I do a "place at me" with a Deadroth and completely ruined my fraps shots. I figured it was because I used too many commands at once. Maybe it's not. What mods are you running?
