  1. Hello everyone. I've been super busy lately, but missing you all. :D

     I have released the preliminary version of Oblivion UI Texture Overhaul on the Nexus Mods site. https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/49095

  2. Here is a sample of some of the UI textures I have remodeled. I have the intro scenes remolded with the stars overlay as well. The left image is the Oblivion vanilla .dds image. The light blue background theme can be used without having to modify the font colors in the .xml files. The midnight blue background will require that I modify the .xml files.

  3. I am unable to save my edit to SupremeMagicka.esp: zzSMConjurationControlScript in either The Construction Set or CSE. Could someone help me with this? The edit I am trying to make is from the MOO Manual for Supreme Magicka compatibility. Find: if bisconj && GetSpellType rplayerspell != 2 && (NumSummons > 1 || SustainableSummons || VariableSummons || ConsistentSummons || ConjSummons > 1) && Player.GetAV Silence == 0 Replace with: if bisconj && GetSpellType rplayerspell != 2 && (NumSummons > 1 || SustainableSummons || VariableSummons || ConsistentSummons || ConjSummons > 1) && Player.GetAV Silence == 0 && Player.IsCasting == 0 The CSE reports the following and will not compile and save the script: Line: Message 21: Variable redeclaration. Previous declaration was at line 10 226: Variable declared inside a script block. 227: Variable declared inside a script block. 236: Variable declared inside a script block. 236: Variable redeclaration. Previous declaration was at line 96 TES Construction Set prompts: Warning: "Script 'zzSMConjurationControlScript', line 105: Script command 'SetNumericGameSetting' not found. Continue Playing?" I select Yes to all but the Script will not save.
  4. Welcome. I have been bitten by the bug myself. When I finish a current project I'm working on, I intend to dive heavily into creating my own mods too. I love your introduction. You sound like me.

  8. Homework Lesson #3 Screenshots from CS and in-game. Screenshots show main assignment for Platform Barrels, Functioning Bench, Platform Fence, and Porch Lighting. Extra Credit Screenshots show Stable for the horse, Shrubs, and Farm Fence. Challenge assignment shows the basement.

  11. I was able to complete the lesson and took my screenshots, however when I closed out the CS it did not save the esp. I will have to repeat the process when I move on to Lesson #2. The esp did save, I just forgot that I named it CS Tutorial House.esp

FYI: for those who have problems finding the "What You Need" until the staff updates the links: It appears the only place to download TES CONSTRUCTION SET v1.2.404 these days is on Nexus Mods: Official Oblivion Construction Set by Bethesda. Also, Bethesda has moved their game patches to Bethesda Patches. However, one can also download the Official Oblivion 12416 Patch by Bethesda from Nexus Mods.

  15. Thank you. Our Administrator is drafting a letter to mail as he hasn't received a response via email. Hopefully they will not object.
  16. Our understanding is that considering Arena is a free download from Bethesda and we are not using any of Arena's assets it is okay to work on this project. I was told that when TesRenewal started their projects they did not have permission and the only reason Bethesda said anything to them was because Zenimax did not like that they were using Morrowind textures and meshes in Oblivion. Our Administrator, RPG-KING 117, has been trying to contact Bethesda. He will continue to reach out for a response until we are either told yes or no, either way we will respect their decision. For now we are just fans of the game working together to see what we can do to Remaster Arena into a more modern gaming experience. If we are mistaken in this understanding, I sincerely apologize for promoting our efforts on here. I admire all the work your team puts into the mods and tutorials you create. I continuously try to promote your site to my gaming friends.
  17. A few of us are hoping to "Remaster Arena". I am actually doing a complete play through in order to take unique screenshots and record dialogue to help provide the developers with information pertaining to the game. If anyone is interested in this: Our goal is to recreate the first game in "The Elder Scrolls" series. To begin, the site is divided by each section Coding, Landscaping, 3D modeling, etc. Join the area you would like to help work on. We welcome anyone with experience with any of the development departments and an understanding of "The Elder Scrolls". This project is not affiliated with TesRenewal Currently we are on discord @ https://discord.gg/q2kRdf7. I can tell you that I have been having an absolute blast replaying TES Arena. It has been 20 years since I played it the first time.
