Hi guys After surfing the web for a while I stumbled upon this: http://www.turbosqui...mour-obj/722076 It is the perfect gothic plate armor ever made it into 3d. I am determined to obtain it and share with the community. Ininitally I wanted to put my paypal account on here but I do not know wether or not it is ok to do so. If any admins happen to come accross this thread please contact me to see what we can do. I'm fine with someone with more credibility handle the money. I will put down 45$ for it. All we need to raise 200$ and this gorgeous model would be ours. If you are not and admin please try spreading the word. Thank you and have a great day ededed117

Download Version: 1.1 Screenshots: Round Shields 01 Round Shields 02 Round Shields 03 ================= Description: ================= This mod adds 57 new Nordic(Viking) themed Round Shields to the game. The shields are distributed through leveled lists, this means you'll find them being sold at the merchants and even carried by enemies (Skeletons, Draugr, Bandits for example). Each of the shields can be upgraded at a workbench, but they cannot be created at a Forge. There are two versions of the shields, ones that have more basic designs (Cross, sun design etc) which are common and other more unique shields which are rarer and are not available at merchants. The new shields were made with new models and textures. ================= Installation ================= Extract the contents of the ZIP folder into your Data folder Check the Insanity's Shields.esp in the Launcher Data Files screen ================= Un-Installation: ================= UnCheck the Insanity's Shields.esp in the Launcher Data Files screen Delete the files/folders associated with the mod ================= Changelog: ================= Version: 1.1 Added: Enchanted Variations Added: Additional lower level variations Fixed: Leveled list oddities Tweaked: Shield Stats ================= Contact: ================= InsanitySorrow @ TES Alliance ================= Credits: ================= Thanks to Bethesda for creating Elderscrolls. ================= Tools Used: ================= Insanity's ReadMe Generator Photoshop CS5 Blender Creation Kit Marmoset Toolbag - For the Render ================= Licensing/Legal: ================= You may use this as you wish as long as you don't charge money for it and you credit me for any work used. I've decided to try my hand at editing some armours, using the guides Blender/Custom Cuirass and Blender import and export armor for Oblivion as references. I'm a bit overwhelmed by the import settings I see compared to the import settings I've seen in the guides though. Should I just untoggle the settings that don't appear in the guides?

From the album: Vom's Stuff
The sleeveless combat armour always annoyed me for no especially good reason; I figured I'd use the "winterised" variant found in Operation Anchorage, but the sleeves aren't mapped to the same texture, annoyingly, so I used my indifferent texturing skills to attempt to recolour the new sleeve texture to match the existing armours: Reilly's Rangers, Rivet City, Combat Armour, Talon Co. and Tenpenny Security (forgot about this one until after I'd done these screenshots!) I only got as far as doing the female variant, but y'know. Trying to decide whether to release it as a modders' resource, but of course my usual nemesis is hindering me, my chronic lack of organisation... For my next trick I may try re-weighting the mesh so the sleeves don't clip the pauldrons/shoulder-pads/whatever, though weight painting scares the life out of me.© © Vom (Christine H), except for the bits that aren't.

From the album: The Manta's shots 'n' stuff
As a kind of tentative project, I'm trying to make some Bosmer-style armour, because I never really have anything appropriate for my Bosmer characters to wear past level 10. It looks pretty hideous right now, but hopefully once it's done, it will only look a little bit hideous. Vometia has given me a great model fix for the female elven armour so that... thing... at the neck isn't so ridiculous, but the guys are gonna have to deal with it.
