I have questions --- sooooo many questions --- on the topic of "custom voices" [dialogue] for NPCs & player's character as well. Here's a few just spit out from the tippy-top of my "head": ~ What the HECK is a FUZ? Where can I get said-"FUZ" tools, and a miracle that it'll be easy to figure out/learn to use correctly? ~ What's their line... lines... if I were wanting to re-voice the vanilla dialogue for some of the player-follower interaction lines. ~ If I wanted to take some recorded "WAV" files and alter the pitch/tone of the voice, which (free) tools would be easiest for making such adjustments? PS- I'm without a bit of know-how when it comes to all those sliders 'n knobs I've seen on some tools before! ~ What the fudge am I getting myself into now; Kratos' mods are haunting me apparently. With that last question (which I'm sure nobody will ever have the answer for) gives away the voice I'm hoping to capture and bring to the mod(s) to set our Kratos/Kratas apart from the knock-offs/others that are available. This is also assuming one of the authors from aforementioned "others" doesn't see/hear about this plan 'n beat me to it.... But --- I digress --- I'm sure I've got the CK portion pretty much figured out from the various forums & videos online. It's really everything else up to that point that I'm in the dark about. I'll greatly appreciate whatever info regarding this topic that's available; even if it may come with an asterisk/heads up! Any-n-all related miscellaneous info or unconventional little tips/tricks that may help me with this endeavor are equally appreciated!

Hello! I have been following this tutorial, and while there seems to be no tutorial in existence for exactly what I want to do(feel free to prove me wrong on that, that would actually be almost just as helpful), this one gets me pretty close. I want to take a head mesh from a model in max and create entirely new tri files with it 100% independent from the ones in the game, for a new race I am adding in my mod. I had more success than I initially thought I would, as I actually can get the head mesh to appear in the CK and deform for expressions and lipsyncing, but the deformations basically just do whatever they want. Additionally, the part about the conformulator at the bottom does not really make sense to me. From my perspective, it achieves the same thing that tricreator.exe achieves a few steps earlier in the tutorial(and even when I try to use it, it crashes, or just tells me the morphs weren't applied. It might be windows 10, it might be my tri files - I don't know). Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? I notice that the tutorial states that if I don't fix the first line from the exported objs in notepad that will most likely be the culprit of broken morphs, but I have double checked all the morphs and they all look good. femalehead_new.tri ZoraFemaleHead.nif

This sword (with a stone that looks like the pommel of mehrunes' razor, only grand soul gem color) as a model and texture for both 1st and 3rd person, with something telling me how to get it to look like that ingame. At the moment when I load a new mesh onto an object in the world it works fine, but when I try to make a weapon, it just appears as a daedric sword, and I can only change the model for 3rd person too.

I'm currently trying to get the mesh seen below into the game, it's a modification of the death hound mesh (VampireDog.nif is the file) and i'm having trouble getting it to work with the animations, i've been trying to get it to work the past week and i'm right on the brink of given up and start on something else. at first i wanted to make the death hound a mount, when i succeeded doing so, i thought of messing alittle with the mesh to make it look more unique, that took me little under 2 hours and now i've used several days just on getting it to work, i got the skin in the game, which was way harder than it should and now the animations are the only problem. i'm new to 3d modeling, so please before you go and say something like "oh, then you should try to do some basic tutorials and then come back" that right there is absolutely not encouraging and i'll rather be free of that, i just want some help on figuring out what is missing or what i have done wrong, since it doesn't work.. so hope i'll get some help, if there is anyone here that knows how to do meshes as that seems to be a rarity ^^' http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/gallery/image/24138-demonhorse1/ Download mirror for the nif file>> http://skyrim.nexusm...download/108165 (i couldn't figure out how to attach files on this site)
