This is a script I wrote that mimics the effect of the Gray Cowl in Oblivion, when attached to an article of clothing. I wanted to share this with the TESA Community, so use it as you see fit, but I do request that you never repost the source on another website (preferrably just link them to this page) and to give credit if you use this in a published mod. When equipped by the player (it does not function on NPCs), the player will have a separate list of bounties for each hold (and any other vanilla crime factions). They will not stop fighting you, if you are already resisting arrest (I could probably tweak it to do that if someone would like though). I'll try to add a demonstration video when time allows. To use this script: Attach it to an Article of clothing Open the Properties Window and use the Auto-Fill button Click "Edit" on each of the Integers (you can just leave them at 0, but if you want the Gray fox to start out with a bounty like he did in oblivion, modify the "Fake" integers (the "Real" ones are the ones that store your regular bounties). You do not need to do anything else; all variables are stored internally and factions already exist, so there's no need to define any external variables.

I think this angle gives a better impression of the depth of the carving. To any of you taking a trip around this part of the world, I must tell you: Do not forget to visit Bali. It is an incredible place. But also remember: skip visiting Kuta. -

The texture is mostly made from photo projections and digital painting. I had the advantage of having access to the subject in person, so I could take photos from several angles. This is good because I think it's the painting as much as the form that makes this piece beautiful, and faking it all digitally could not have done it justice (at least at my level of skill). -

826 triangles, still far outstripped by the vanilla dragon priest masks (~400 tris). Compared to the Noh Theatre mask, this one has far more of it's geometry stored in the normal map. This was done by beginning with a high-poly version using human face anatomy topology, then retopologizing at a far lower poly count, trusting even fairly prominent details to a baked normal map. I think I could have gone further and given it an even lower poly count; perhaps in my next project I'll experiment more with this. -

Made with Blender, Photoshop. Based on the "Hannya" mask from Japanese Noh theatre. Modelling and texturing this one was surprisingly quick. I'm going to try getting this in-game using Hana's armour tutorial once I reinstall Skyrim (definitely after Dragonborn, probably before then). -

1676 triangles in total. By comparison, the vanilla dragon priest masks have only ~400 triangles. Looking at the mesh for the dragon priest masks' mesh, it's astonishing just how much information is stored in the textures. I think I may try to redo the topology and optimise the polycount. -

Just a look at a mod I downloaded, got to love the fact the masks are friendly to the beast races (modder still working on orc according to write up on Nexus). The mod itself is called Tribunal robes and masks (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20077) by DoctorPepper© Si-Shen
