tesnexus mod problem and obmm not working...

so i downloaded a few mods from tesnexus, but when i wanted to put them in the oblivion folder, my pc told me it doesnt know with wat to open it...

usually i just click the download and then it opens a subfolder, that displays the content (the esp. and esm. files etc.) that i then copy into the oblivion folder, but for those it doesnt work

btw, i would use obmm BUT it wont work no matter wat i do

ive reinstalled it mulitple times and also sent an email to the modders (no reply)

my pc had a complete crash a few month ago, and i had to reinstall everything, but before that obmm worked fine, now idk wats wrong with it

please help, cause i found some awesome mods i want to use, but this wont let me

If the mod file is a .7z file you will need to download 7-zip to open it. You can download it here: http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Can you describe the issue with OBMM further? Does it start at all?

ah yea i got the mods now, had 7zip, just forgot to use it

i delited the obmm, so ill reinstall it and see what the message is it says...

allright...

i installed it and hit the icon ont he screen and all that happens is that vista gives me a message obmm stopped running (it never ran _----_)

In Vista you need to run OBMM as an administrator. Instead of clicking on it to open, right-click Run As Administrator instead. See if that works for you.
