:swordplay:  snipeage: i think i found a way to accurately do the advancement if we use proofs. [based on the lawbringer and contract killer perks from FO3

Sniping should be easy enough, just do a check to determine the distance of the player and use this to determine advancement.

Infact I have a marksman training mod that uses a similar set up :P, check nexus if you are interested.

:P in this context, i merely sniped a solution to a problem that's been bugging me XD i mean, it's easy to buy ectoplasm at an apothecary right? well, on a creature's death,  check if it was killed by the player. if it's not false, then add an item that isn't gained any other way. [like the vampire's fangs, or a bone chip from skeletals and zombies, lich bone for liches etc.] the only thing i can't figure out is how to explain remnants of a spectral being [supposedly, they are excorcised and removed from the mundane realm :/ [perhaps graduated spectral remnants, based on the type of spectral you killed.] and make them quest items, so they cannot be dropped/taken away/sold.

i'm trying very hard to think of anti-cheat devices.

Perhaps look at how the Virtuous blood quest recognizes the two types of Vampire dust. There are some, any dusts taken from quest related vampires I believe, that you can NOT sell to the order for gold. Maybe that will give you a nudge in the right direction?

I think the dust is set up with a new ID, then checks are made to see if this item is in the players inventory, if so you can sell this one, any other type cannot be sold.
