Okay so as I don't have any inspiration for modding these days I figured I might actually try and PLAY the game again. So the question is simply if you know of any cool mods that could make it a different experience from what I've tried 50 times already? tongue.gif

Well, that all depends on what you've tried 50 times. tongue.gif Have you tried any major overhauls, like MMM, OOO, Frans or FCOM? There are mod that offer minor tweaks, like Reneer's Guard Overhaul, or my most popular mod: Vyper's Arrow Spells(shameless plug, I know tongue.gif ). My recommended mods are:

An-Arane Cey: Lost Sword of the Ayleids

Deadly Reflex

Midas Magic

Unnecssary Violence

Alternate Start-Arrive By Ship

Servant Of The Dawn

Elemental Elves

Bag of Holding

Twin Myths of the Dawn

Arena Continued

Open Cities

That's all I can think of, for now. If I think of any more, I'll post some links. Enjoy!

To realy change the way you play I would look at FCOM, OOO or MMM. OOO and MMM are used in FCOM. You could also look aat the race balanceing project it re dos all the basic skills etc of all the races and adds a few. Not knowing what you have done before this is the best I can do. :2guns:

I've found that, no matter how many times I've decided to try and play the whole game, I always get sidetracked (usually by other games), but when I do put a good amount of time into Oblivion again, I end up going through side-quests, either stock or downloaded. The first time I played Oblivion, when I was the most into it, I got maybe 3 hours into the main quest, but finished most of the guilds, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, etc...

Not sure what it is with the main quest, but I still haven't gotten through it. Even now, I started playing the Lost Spires and Shivering Isles long before I decided to give the main quest a try.

I really think that's the great thing about Oblivion... even if you NEVER get to the main quest, there is so much to do that it doesn't really matter! Save the world... meh, I'd rather go dungeon crawling.
