Creature sounds?

I'm trying to use Mr Siilkas farm animal resource to put some chickens in my farmhouse mod.

The problem I'm having is with the Sounds tab on the creatures where you config their footstep, attack and other sounds.

The chicken sounds are in the sounds/fx directory but they don't show up in the sound pick menu.

I know they SHOULD work from this location because they DO. They work in Mr. Sillkas' .esp which adds animals to the vanilla farms. They just don't work in MY new .esp.

Is there some sort of arcane ritual i have to perform to get the CS to notice new sounds?

Thats like saying, I put the sword mesh in the weapons folder, why can't I find it in the weapons listing?

You have to create the 'Sound' objects in the CS before they can be selected and used.

In the Object Window:

>Miscellaneous >Sound

You then attach a sound file to the new sound object, and then you can attach the sound object to the chicken.

oooooohh I didn't know there were Sound Objects. I thought you just pointed to files...like to you for actor models and skeletons.
