I: Background

You have had rumors around the towns, cities and across Tamriel. A newly discovered Ayleid ruin. It is unknown what lies beyond the Ivory door. Many say that there is great treasure. Some say that if you step step foot into it you will be vaporized instantly. Others say that this could be the greatest find of the Era.

All you know is that it is a new find and no person has stepped foot inside in the past 3000 years or longer. You would like to be able to explore this newly found ruin.

II: Theme

From beautiful to get the the Oblivion out of here scary.

You will have to explore this ruin to cleanse it of all evil that may lie beyond the stone door. Is it all evil or are their harmless undead. You must decide who is friendly and who wants to rip your throat-out.

III: Additions

New custom Ayleid ruin with many explorable areas and rooms.

New theme music to go with the some of the new areas.

Re-Colored items from vanilla Oblivion.

Many modder's resources were used.

Ruins of Malamath holds many secrets. Many have left to explore none has returned. What lays behind that stone door?

Location is South of Timber Scar Hollow

Level 15 or higher recommended.

Beware of your step!

Installation

=================

1. Extract this archive to the Data folder. No overwriting should be needed!

2. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, and enable the .esp file(s).

3. Save

4. PLEASE WAIT FOR x-Amount of days (3-days if vanilla) for the place to re-spawn and new enemies to be loaded. If you do NOT you WILL (most likely) CTD upon entry.

Un-Installation:

1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file(s).

2. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod. (Usually under the folder name of "DSoS")

Upgrade:

If you have had the previous version installed, you MUST UNINSTALL IT.

Delete the malamath.esp

Delete the following folders:

\meshes\Dsos\Malamath

\sound\fx\Dsos\Malamath

\textures\Dsos\malamath

\textures\menus\icons\Dsos\Malamath

I believe that is all of the folders that were included with the first version. Make sure to do a search for "*malamath" (without the quotes) (the star helps sometimes to find things especially with Windows 7)

After all files are gone, just place the new plugin file and the bsa into the data folder. Go in and check it, wait for 3-14 days for respawn and find the location and start exploring.

Save

I updated Malamath for the following reasons:

*Created a BSA for malamath. (Included with the 1.5.0b (this version your testing)

*Light sources and lights don't match up at some areas.

*Disabled some exterior items, until triggered by player in Dead Mans Caves.

*All custom items *should* have icons new, weapons, armor, clutter (plates, bowls, etc.)

I think that is all that I fixed that needed to be fixed.

oh btw, I would suggest being atleast level 15+.

I know that some areas will most likely cause lag, but it shouldn't lag for too long. I've had reports from the first release about little lag but wasn't a big issue.

Malamath_V1.5.1b_ESP_UPDATE.7z - Updates ESP file only. Fixes several issues found by Nottlong!

Malamath_V1.5.2b_ESP_UPDATE.7z - Updates ESP file only. Hopefully this fixes the Dark Brotherhood pirates... if not I will replace all the containers in the area.

Malamath_V1.5.3b_ESP_UPDATE.7z - Updates ESP file only. Fixes crates and barrels outside Deadman's Caves, hopefully. Khett's Collision box suggestion for Greenery walkway.

Malamath_V1.5.4b_ESP_UPDATE.7z - Updates ESP file only. Fixes the Nagasel door for "Needs Key"! (This was suppose to have been done, but I hadn't saved in awhile and lost it when computer locked up.)

Malamath_V1.5.4b_CLEANED_V_DO_NOT_DOWNLOAD.7z - Does not update any new additions or edits... This is a cleaned version of the 1.5.4b, I cleaned it, i think, but would like Khett to check to make sure I did it correct. AGAIN DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS VERSION!!!

Malamath_V1.6.5b_BSA_ESP_UPDATE.7z --- Complete update including the ESP, includes a new BSA. Make sure to fully uninstall and make a clean save before loading this, and wait for 3-14 days. Sorry guys.

* Still no icons made for the arrows or varla nuggets.

* Made a door or two "Needs Key."

Update...

Looking for names for guards. I would like to use YOUR screen name for the names of the various guards that will be in my mod...

If you would like your name to be used, please follow this guideline below:

Name: (your TESA screen name)

Race: (Nord, Khijiit, Argonian, etc)

Stats: anything stats that you may want to place here to help me. Class, birthsign, is he/she a Fighter/Mage/Thief/etc, etc. anything to help me with the NPC design

Example:

Name: RiS'Dar

Race: Argonian

Stats: Class: Assassin | Birthsign: Shadow | Stealth | Spells: HP Restore, Paralyze, etc

Thank you for helping me and taking your time

EDIT:

If they wear special type of anything, like wings or whatnot, let me know, and I will *try* to place them in my mod as well

EDIT #2:

I will be creating roughly ~15 new Named guards. So the more I have, the easier it will be for me.

Race: Argonian

Stats: Class: i guess he's technically be a battlemage.

Birthsign: Warrior

Combat: well, in game, i use the Gull Broadsword and Barbed leaf blade from RealSwords Argonian. otherwise, you can make it what you want. he was an expert in blade on my save.

Spells: Conjuration. Spell of choice here is a Daedroth, though you can make it want you want. Also some average damage touch destruction spells, and an average Healing spell.

as far as extra things for his appearance, i use the Royal Crown (i think thats what its called) headset from this mod. i also use the folded dragon wings from this mod. i suppose you could either ask permission to use theirs, or come up w/ your own version. Of course, you dont have to incorporate these. :P

Background for this request:

If I can pull it off, I want them to be companion like, they will be your most trusted guards and will follow you into battle, share inventory space (dependent on race and sex, weight between 200-350.)

The impression is that he's a veteran who's battle-hardened enough to not need armor. But if he's got to wear the armor to be a guard for you, then I'm perfectly OK with that. Heavy armor please.

Weapon: Silver Hammer

Combat: Primarily uses an enchanted bow (Drain Speed 100 pts x 1 sec, Shock Damage 10 pts x 1 sec, Soul Trap x 1 sec). Sometimes uses poisons. Decent with a Short Sword (on those rare occasions when he's forced into melee). Carries a "weapon of last resort" called Reaper-a dagger so heavily enchanted it takes a full Grand Soul Gem just to use it once. It's enchanted with Fire,Frost & Shock damage 50 pts for 3 seconds, Damage Health 50 pts for 3 seconds, Drain Speed 100 pts for 1 second, & Soul Trap for a total enchantment cost of 1582. Also uses invisibility to escape if Reaper isn't charged. Wears Stealth Armor (which sometimes isn't enough to get him out of the trouble he so loves getting into :D).

Specialization: Stealth

So I'm working on this again, but taking a major route change.... Instead of making it player owned, its going to be a *normal* Ayleid dungeon, you know monsters, bandits, vampires, etc. etc.

But I would like to see if I could get a bit of help from a couple of people.

This ruin is a large undertaking for a single person, so I'm asking for a little help.

1 or 2 people who can help with pathing (As of right now there is like 6+ cells, and I'm not finished building yet!)

1 or 2 people who can help with placing clutter. (Clutter such as; tables, chairs, containers, etc)

That's all I need help with I think.

If you would like to help please send me a PM please, and say which area you would like to help in (Pathing or Cluttering)
