Purple meshes

HI Falcont. I have just dropped an object into my internal cell, and its just a purple shape, The meshes and textures have been put in there prospective places in the data folder and both of them have the same name folders, I have put the mesh file into the Objects_Static_Editor ID Section But it is not finding the texture. Can some one please help Thank You

Hy Guys Thanks for the reply. Downloaded the mesh and textures its David_whitefangs_Pool. I have put the meshs into the folders, as instructed. Put the Mesh into Objects_Static and end up with a purple pool. The Folders read like this Meshes - WhitefangMeshes\WhitefangArchitecture\Files----Textures - WhitefangTextures\Files. Please bear in mind

I am a complete beginner at this TC thing and modding in general I have only had Tc up and running for a few days,

And i am a little long in the tooth SO please wright slowly for me Hope you can help Thanks falcont

Falcont, I just took a look at that resource. The name of the texture folder for Whitefang's resource is probably where the issue lies. Here's the folder path for this resource to work correctly:

In your Meshes folder: WhitefangMeshes/WhitefangArchitecture

And in your Textures folder:

Whitefang

I opened the nif, and the internal texture path was misnamed. Just put the "WhitefangTextures" folder in your Textures folder, and rename the "WhitefangTextures" folder to "Whitefang"- no quotations. That should allow the mesh to pick up the textures.

You will still see purple water in the pool in the Construction Set, but that is normal.
