UMP 45

Okay so to improve my efforts at modelling im making a UMP 45 for FO3..... the only problem is I dont have FO3 so I would need the help of somebody who knows the GECK and how to make FO3 mods. We could then upload it as a joint effort to make the mod. I've made a progress bar below this to see how far im getting. Also I would like to thank donn for the idea of making this for FO3

UMP basic model - 15%

UMP advanced model - 0%

UMP texture - 0%

So heres the first part of the UMP if anybody can get me a front or top view of the same type of UMP I would greatly appreciate it

I'm postponing this for a while until I finish GOBCD I cant juggle both at the same time but your welcome to post links to UMP images that may help me! Thanks

thanks stoney will take a look . So can you use the GECK even if you dont have FO3? I know that you can use the CS barely without OB

I have FO3 but know nothing about making a weapon NIF work with the game. I know all about projectiles and weapons and setting animation groups, even setting them up in the GECK, but the NIF stuff like bones and fire nodes or what-ever are beyond me.

Might be worth asking Grond, he made a new gun for FO3 so maybe he has some info that may help

Ooh a new weapon! I'd love to do the importing for you Galvon - you do the fun part. All that's needed is to split the weapon into parts that match the parts of a similar vanilla weapon.

I followed this tutorial and though I used Blender, it worked pretty well: FO3 Wiki Link

okay thanks Grond in the OP I have said that I have postponed the modelling till GOBCD is finished but i'd be very glad if you would help put the gun into FO3
