Need for simple script

Greetings all.

I am in need for some scripts for my new quest. These are simple stuff, but I´m desperate, I´m a hell of a bad scripter

During dialogue a NPC will give me two options to do something. In one of them he will only tell me if I give him 1000 gold.

He will ask me if we have a deal:

I know, I know: Addtopic + the "yes" or "no" topics, and if player chooses "yes" results script player.removegold 1000 (is it??)

BUT:

1- What must I do in case player does not have the amount of gold asked? What would be the script needed to add this option to the dialogue list (it could be mine or the NPC´s dialogue, the point is: how will the game recognize player is out of gold and deny the "yes" option?)

I am not familiar with dialog, but can't you put conditions on the topic?

Just make sure the player has more than 999 gold.

Try GetGold in the Conditions tab. Will's right, through dialogue conditions you can make that happen. I've never tried that condition but I'll wager it'll do what you want. And you should click the 'run on target' box, too.

Or GetItemCount gold001 >= 1000 with 'Run on target' box checked.
