screenshot help

like the title says i've enabled screenshots in oblivion's ini file, but when i press print screen nothing happens, if i exit the game and try to paste into mspaint or some other program, the paste option ain't there so have no screen shots and nothing in the clipboard. anti aliasing is off in oblivion so i know it's not that. i'm not even getting the pop up saying 'screenshot001.jpg' saved or what ever oblivion pops up at you to let you know you were successful..

Are you working on a laptop? I know some have trouble with screencaps. There's a program called Fraps, it free just google it. It will let you take screens in game and it's actually better than the default screencap program.

I second the notion for FRAPS. It's a nice way to screencap without having to turn off AA.

I agree with what's been said best use Fraps, if you have aa enabled via the game options then normal in game screenshots will not work.

well like i said anti aliasing is off since my video card don't like it much..

I third Fraps, but do be aware that if the game successfully takes a screenshot, it saves it in your oblivion folder, rather than putting it on the clipboard.

yeah i'm using fraps, it's cool that it bench marks and video captures, that'll be handy later..

If you have Vista or W7, and you use another program to start the game other than the normal game loader, then you need to run your game loader as admin if you installed the game to the default program files folder.
