Problems with Nehrim

Ohai!

Ok so I have downloaded and installed Nehrim, followed the install instructions to the letter, and when I try to run the bloody thing it loads for maybe three or four seconds then crashes to the desktop.

I have spoken to a few peeps about it and they sugguested a couple of things, like disabling all my mods in OBMM, which I did, yet the problem still kicks me in the teef them I try to run Nehrim.

Would anyone be able to help me out in figuring why this happens? Please, and thank yous.

Try renaming your Oblivion.ini file to something else and let the game generate a new one. It could be a setting in there that Nehrim doesn't like.

have made a new .ini file? back-up your existing copy than delete the main and generate a new via the Nehrim launcher. than make your settings via the settings bar and it should work.

I installed Nehrim to it's own separate folder with it's own omm and obse installed, I found this thread very helpful: http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1118767-nehrim-and-mods/page__hl__nehrim

I dont have Nehrim set up at the moment and my memory is a biy hazy but I seem to remember that if you use the Nehrim launcher to select the Nehrim data files you also have to click an accept button for the files to be registered.Failing that do as Vicki recommended and install OBMM in your Nehrim folder,I also stuck Wrye Bash in there too and it works like a dream.

Well I tried your sugguestion Darkstone. Even after installing obmm and bash in there it failed. I am going to do a fresh reinstall of both Nehrim and OB to see if that helps.

Okay! That worked!! Fresh installs and Nehrim runs! Now.. to get my race mod working.
