Objects showing up in house mod that aren't in the CS a

Open the console and click on the object, it'll give you a refID.

Open your mod in TES4Edit and see if it's actually in your mod. then delete it.

If it's not in your mod, use the RefID to search all your mods, maybe something else you installed put it there.

Okay, I was getting ready to reply earlier and thought I should include my LO. Noticed that the bashed bash wasn't activated. :doh:

Activated the patch, rebuilt and redated then checked in game... Lights are still there. Even in saved games a year old..... All saves in all 3 characters had the lights showing whether or not I was in that area or not. ( I know for a fact these saves were good a few days ago)

Started deactivating more mods - And noticed that I had All Natural Real Lighting and Immersive Interiors with Optional Lights (suppoed to be outside lamposts???) Deactivated both optional lighting mods and rebuilt the patch and redated again. All saves have NO additional lights in the house mod.

Did you modify the house then used a savegame inside the house?

Yes.... I removed a hidden pathnode from under the bed that was causing NPCs to try to walk through the bed. It still affected previous saves when the save was NOT in the house.

Tried that, the refID I get is the house. The light(s) can't be clicked on to get a refID. I have gone through the mod and I haven't used any of those types of lights and they are NOT in the mod.

M M Bear _ Already double checked that and everything there is good.

What has me puzzled is that I have been using those 2 optional lighting mods for quite some time and never had this problem. Then it seems that over night every saved game was affected by it. As it is now I have both options disabled and the lights are not in my saved games anymore.

So now my question is Should I use one but not the other or do without both or try adding them in 1 by 1 and see which one adds those lights back?

You're in your own house mod, correct? It would not be affected by Imm. Interiors in any way, as he only does cities. Real Lights also doesn't add random lights, just sources. Certainly go ahead and try activating them one at a time, but I'd be really stumped if it is them, especially since it just appeared randomly.

Did you look at your mod in TES4Edit for any light objects?

I've looked at it with TES4Files, TES4Edit and Gecko and everything is correct. There's nothing out of place. The two lights on the table are static and I put a light source over the candles (as we have done before without problems)

I edited the file on this computer with a bunch of mods and BASH Patch running. I thought that might be part of the problem so I went to the other computer that is a bare install with very little outside the main race, and the unoffical patches, etc. and looked it over. (was copy of file from before Iedited it on this system. It looks fine there in the CS and in game.) Made an OMOD of it, came back to this computer, deleted everything associated with the mod and installed the OMOD. Still had the floating lights until I removed both the optional lighting mods. :shrug:

Hana found the problem. I used the wrong light source. Should have used a common light instead I used the upperclass bowl. Don't know why it took a year for this to show up in my games, but replaced it with the proper light source and everything is back to normal with Natural Lighting and Immersive Interiors .
