A weird CS error

Everytime I try to save my mod I get this error

and I was looking forward to modding can anyone help me fix this ?

Ok first...Where is Oblivion installed on your comp.? Second..where is the CS installed..?

Their both installed in program files -.-

I have mine installed in...D:/ Oblivion...to avoid program files issues. Is yours in Program Files...or, Program Files(x86)...?

As I said yesterday, installing in Program Files, if you're on Vista or Win7 is a bad place, due to UAC issues.

You're better off uninstalling and re-installing everything outside of there, such as create a folder called C:\Games\Oblivion and install there when prompted during the install process.

I installed oblivion in D but I still get the error

Did you reinstall the CS to D aswell?

If you did, then are you running the program as an administrator?

Alright, let's be clear here.

1. What is the exact path you installed to?

2. What OS are you running?

3. Detail what you do when you open the CS to create your mod, and when you go to save your mod.

Something is not right, and without details, it's difficult to help.

Ok, when you click the save button do you see the destination at the top, and is it pointing to your OB \ Data folder?

You CANNOT save the mods anywhere but your game folders 'data' folder. It is not allowed and thus, an invalid directory.
