Are their any Bird or Deer race mods?

I think I'll work on this, too. At most I can do so far before CK is out is make textures for them.

If this is for Oblivion there's already a deer model for both the buck and doe. If you're looking to put them in one of your mods I'd recommend removing the "prey" faction so they aren't attacked or run away all the time. As for birds..... Mr Siikas Farm Animals might be a good place to see about fowl. There's another one with Bird's of Paradise .

A quick search on TES Nexus reveals absolutely nothing resembling a playable deer or playable bird (well, there's a Morrowind mod which has a playable bird, but that's Morrowind.)

I've yet to search around on Planet Elder Scrolls though. Something might be there which wasn't shared on TES Nexus.

For bird races, there's none that I know of. There is two deer races though. This one looks more like the vanilla deer, it's called "The Hircine." You can find it here:

The other one I can't link too because it has some images which aren't TESA friendly, but you can find it by searching for the "Chuhrai Race" on Nexus.
