Bit of a Stupid Question

So... a little while back my player character married Jordis the Sword Maiden, and I decided to take her around with me as a companion for a while. I wanted her to wear Wolf Armor, which I had modded into the game with the Cleric Armor female Wolf Armor replacer, but her default armor was stronger than the wolf armor. So I pickpocketed it off of her. This wasn't a problem while I had her as a companion, but recently I decided to send her back to my home and start journeying alone again. Now, though, whenever I go back home, she isn't wearing the wolf armor, in fact she's wearing nothing at all! My problem with this is, it's a little weird seeing a naked character walking around my house all day whether it's my character's wife or not. Is there a way I can fix this without modding my game to do so?

I guess you could try pick pocketing here again and putting her stuff back. If she's still a companion you should be able to give her stuff anyway.

I believe I tried that, but it seems like it's no longer recognized as her default armorset anymore so she doesn't put it on unless she's following me around :/

I, think I had close to the same issue with a follower, awhile back. I fix it by disabling her and the enabling her. That seems to reboot her character with default items restored, Try it and see if it works for you.

Perhaps you could use the CK to make the wolf armour slightly stronger than her default armour?

Come to think of it, another way is to take her out and let her get killed. Once she's dead you can open the console and click on her and type resurrect and she'll come back with her default armor and stuff. Make sure if you gave her anything you want to keep that you take it off the body first.

Know this works because she's died a few times and I've brought her back.

Another thing is when she comes back she won't automatically join you. You'll have to ask her to follow you.

Sounds like she has no default clothing or armour. I had to release my companion for a few quests and since I had only the armour I wanted her to wear, when released from me, she went home naked. Make sure she has something in her inventory, even if it's only an old dress. Should fix it since they automatically wear something.
