Hey everyone. I'm building a dungeon filled with Slaves, Dremora, and Vampires. Everything is just about finished, except for one glaring bug. The Dremora and Vampires (all Lvl Actors) attack the Slaves (custom NPCs) indiscriminately, as well as attacking each other (Dremora vs. Vampire gang war). I'm trying to make it so that the Dremora and Vampires only attack the player, and the slaves stay completely neutral to everyone. I've tried a few scripts, as well as setting all the NPCs to a single faction, but nothing seems to work.

If there is a solution, would it be one where I can have a single exception? (One of the slaves gets uppity, and a Dremora puts him down).

Simple solution. Make your own faction, and place it on the 'copy' of each NPC you plan on using. Or you could add one of the factions from one of those groups to the other two groups.

Factions control how NPC's react to each other.

If its not working for you, then make sure you are using a clean save game.

And do not put the agression to maximum, as they will sometimes beserk attack each other anyway.
