Greetings.

I recently updated the CK to version 1.8 to mod something for Dragonborn, and today I did something that I cannot get "undone". I think I hit some key or activated something that changed it, now whenever I double-click any object in the render windows it opens the REFERENCE window, not the object window with its scale, the object position with its "x" , "y" and "z" axis and all that stuff.

Where did I go wrong?

Double click on any object opens it's ref editor? That's normal behavior, but when it opens if you see something other than the X,Y,Z world data positions, you may have tabbed over on accident; the CK will always remember what tab you used last, in case you're wanting to edit that tab on multiple objects. Just click on the 3D Data tab in the ref editor to see the stuff you're used to. :good:

From CK Basics Lesson #4

:smarty: Smarty Says: Are the bulbs to your shadow lights all red and rendering no light in the CK? Try checking the flag next to shadows under Preferences>Shaders. If that doesn't work, close the CK, go to your skyrim folder, and open the SkyrimEditorPrefs.ini. Find the setting bDrawShadows=0, change that 0 to a 1 and save the ini, then restart the CK. Your light bulbs should be white and rendering light properly.
