Landscape textures

Greetings.

 

 For the first time I am trying to add a new landscape texture to the game and I´ve been unable to do so. It is one of Insanity Sorrow´s desert textures. I have already placed them in the "textures/landscape" folder, but they did not show up as an option in the Landscape Editing´s texture table. In Oblivion, it was just to place the texture in the right folder and the Construction Set would recognize it... what do I need to do in Skyrim?

You need to make a "texture set" of your landscape texture, then make a new "landscape texture" with the texture set assigned to it.

Your texture will need to be highly faded as the CK seems to like to add its own form of saturation and brightness. Keep copies of your texture and play with it to find what works for you.
