Modding help needed for newbie

Hey there. As the title says im new to modding but worked out a bit with it.

 

So, the programs i have is OBMM and later after installing all mods i installed BOSS and OBSE LOADER.

 

Mods i installed (in order too) were:

 

All official game dlc

 

Oblivion Unofficial Patch

 

Oblivion Unofficial Shivering Island Patch

 

Unofficial official mods patch

 

Qarl's Texture Pack III

 

OOO 1.35

 

Francescos leveled creatures items mod 4.5b-2518

 

EVE for Oscuros Oblivion Overhaul 1_3 OMOD-24078

 

EVE_HGEC_BodyStock and Clothing OMOD-24078

 

EVE for OOO 1_35 fix-42574-2-0

 

MMM (latest With Horsepack which i did a seperate omod)

 

FCOM Convergence

 

All Natural 1.31

 

Some Unique Landscapes.

 

 

So i installed mods, installed and runned BOSS, installed OBSE LOADER and boom game is crashing instant before even starting with both obse and normal launcher.

 

Also i saw some info about Wrye Bash on some readme but i never installed it to learn this program. Is this program a must for mods?

 

How should my install order be? What went wrong with the mods? Please help i wanna play oblivion with all the cool graphics and items

The usual reason for instant crash before even starting the game is you are missing a master file.

I don't use or need tools for my mod usage, so perhaps those familiar with the tools will chime in.

Did you install the full OBSE utility? You only mentioned the loader.

That definitely sounds like a missing master file as Willie said. Most likely something gone awry with your FCOM setup. Doesn't FCOM require WarCry too?

 

Probably best to read up the FCOM thread for advise. Also, you will need Wrye Bash.

+1 on Hanaisse's post. Wrye Bash will tell you in seconds not only which mod is missing a master, but what master is missing.

 

Wrye Bash isn't trivial to learn, but it's not horribly difficult either. Especially if you're a modder, take the time to learn it because the rewards are substantial with respect to managing your mod list.
