My new 2018 build.

Ok folks, some of you have been following my Win10 Questions thread and know I`m having a new PC built. Well ... I just got back from the spec meeting with the builder where we hammered out all the details.  Here`s what we ended up with ... :

Case: Cooler Master HAF 912

Mobo: Asus Maximus ROG X Hero

CPU: 8th gen i7 8700K

PSU: Corsair HX750i 

GFX: MSi GeForce GTX 1070 liquid cooled.

CPU cooling: Corsair H100i V2

RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengence

Main drive: Samsung 970 EVO 1TB M.2 SSD

Secondary drive: Samsung 850 Pro 1TB SSD

Optical drive: Asus BC12 B1ST BluRay

OS: Win10 Pro

Ok... update.  Check cleared (stupid B of A )  and parts should be in next tuesday.

Ok... update.  After some setbacks we`re dinally back on track. Hoping for delivery in a few days.  Ended up having to go with a full tower case due to conflicts.

  Yaaayy ... picked up my new rig today.  Builder tested with Overwatch  slammed to ultra ...  She is jealous.     This thing is really fast.  I`m going to have some  questions to post in my win10 thread, but the basics are in.

Can't say I have ever had liquid cooled video before.

I remember the rating of how fast the memory talked to the FSB, in nano seconds. 

However now, look for the frequency, expressed in MegaHerz.

A common and old, slower frequency is 2133 and 2166 MHz.

They are on the chip package on purchase, the inventory sheet from the builder, or on the chip itself.

I don't recommend you open your rig, however. 

Your *BIOS* probably has the answer as well.

OK, bios says the DDR4 RAM is running ar 3200 MHz with a voltage of 1.344

I already saw specs for DDR5 but I wouldn't wait, what you have is great.
