[SKY][Solved] Making my custom worldspace square

Hi TESA!

So, my world finally has all the statics, trees and terrain ready for LOD generation and I followed this tutorial here to do it:

Now, the problem is that statics and trees always generate fine, but when I generate my terrain, it just vanishes - POOF! - either it is at the bottom of the world or way at the top all scrambled up and flat.

Well, from searching, it turns out I had no idea I had to make my worldspace square. I have absolutely no idea how to do this!

This is how my world looks via the heightmap editor in the CK:

Any ideas?

Ok, I'll ask it a different way.... what size is your worldspace?

To quote Alexander J. Velicky on his youtube page;

Your worldspace needs to be a perfect square (Or rectangle) an equal number of quads in size or else LOD gets messed up and does work. Make sure both the height and width of your worldspace are divisible by 32 evenly. (64 = OK, 128 = OK, 68 = Not OK)

Yep. Another quote from Alexander (many people know how meticulous he's been about his worldspace);

You could also just pan the camera around outside of the 8x8 grid, the CK would create cells as the camera enters them. Do some careful math, and careful panning, and you could expand the world to 32x32 with only about 10-15 mins of work.

Good thing with that is if you accidently make extra cells (Which just creates the problem again), you can use TES5Edit to snip them off.

In addition, the CK appears to now auto detect that to some extend somehow. I don't know if they patched it in or what. I was editing the edge of Falskaar, and I created a few stray cells. I saved, then went into edit and couldn't find them. Upon opening the CK back up, they were gone. The CK had deleted/voided the data for the stray cells automatically.
