Assuming the PC is something

When I am writing dialogue, is it worth it to change the story based on certain factors of the PC like level, age and sex or is better to assume that the PC is a 22 year old male? I'm revising my script and I'm thinking of just writing as if that is definitely true.

1) There are many, many women who play this game- indeed, I can think of four that moderate these forums. :)

2) Many, many men play female characters.

Personally, if I play a mod and find that the author did not account for female characters (meaning it is overtly assumed I'm male, not just a mod that uses gender neutral language), I stop playing it and delete the mod. The Elder Scrolls series has always accounted for players of both sexes- it isn't difficult.

I'm gonna weigh in with Greenwarden on this one. It's best to keep your language gender neutral when possible. And where not possible (ie "Yes, my Lord") you need to have a female alternative line {ie "Yes, my Lady), it's no more trouble than a condition variant. :lmao:

[EDIT] Another note on the same line, never assume your player will be either good or evil, you have to play a middle road because even if you say "Better for good hero characters" in your readme, folks with evil characters will play. :)

Yeah that sounds like the best plan. This mod isn't designed to be open ended/decision based. In fact it is completely linear. I'm going to have to rewrite a few parts of my script, but it shouldn't be too hard. I have the ideas in my head already. Thanks for the input.
